Overview

CheveningPrep provides independent AI-assisted feedback on English essays applicants write themselves. This policy describes account data, submitted drafts, saved reports, AI processing, payments and operational security.

Provide only information needed for the review. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information and identifying details about other people. Public essay tools do not require interview recordings.

Information You Provide

• Account information such as email address, name, avatar, login information, and account preferences.
• Materials you submit or save, including English essay drafts, review feedback, question coverage, four-essay consistency reports and the language requested for a report. Older saved application, planning or interview records may remain in your account.
• The essay text and relevant context sent when you request an AI review, together with your selected feedback language.
• Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Support messages you send when you contact us for feedback, support, or refund review.

Drafts and Saved Reviews

Where browser storage is available, the review form retains your draft in the current tab. Browser storage is not a guaranteed backup. Submitting a review sends the relevant text for processing; choosing Save stores a private report and its available source snapshot in your account.

Saved reports can include the original essay, evidence quotations, feedback, question coverage and version information. New reports retain the language selected when requested. Switching the site language does not translate old reports or initiate another paid review. Older records may not include every field.

Drafts and reports are not published as public examples or search pages. Only submit material you are entitled to use. Contact support about access, correction, export or deletion requests.

AI Providers

Third-party AI services process the relevant essay text and context when you request a review. Depending on service configuration, this can include an API intermediary and the model provider. Their processing is subject to the applicable provider terms; we do not promise that submitted text remains solely on CheveningPrep servers.

Review explanations follow your selected supported language; original essay quotations remain in English. AI feedback can be inaccurate and does not independently verify your facts. Public tools do not generate or rewrite application answers. Legacy generation and interview workflows are restricted to authorised administrators.

Analytics, Logs, and Security

We use operational analytics and structured logs to understand reliability, usage, credit consumption, failures, refunds, and workflow health.

Our analytics and logs are designed not to store essay text, background text, prompts, user answers, raw provider payloads, API keys, raw IP addresses, full user agents, or payment card details.

To protect paid access and reduce account sharing, we may store hashed metadata such as hashed IP signals, hashed browser or device signals, event type, route, and timestamp.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies for authentication and basic platform functionality. Depending on configuration, we may also use analytics or performance cookies to understand usage and improve reliability.
