Explain why Chevening is the specific bridge between your existing evidence and your next stage of impact. Connect the award's leadership community, your chosen UK learning environment, and a concrete post-study plan. Avoid describing funding as the main reason.
Official guidance confirms that the panel asks about your aspirations and how Chevening can facilitate them. It does not publish one mandatory wording, so prepare the reasoning rather than a rehearsed quotation.
Write four headings—impact, missing capability, Chevening fit, contribution—and place one evidence-based sentence under each. Speak from the headings instead of memorising a paragraph.
